GoBro is a new app that connects local people to local home and lifestyle services. It’s launching first in Wellington and will soon expand throughout New Zealand. The platform allows users to quickly find, book, and securely pay for nearby services.

GoBro provides a convenient way to access a variety of local services, such as cleaning, gardening, and plumbing, all in one place. The app ensures secure transactions and lets you choose from providers based on ratings, reviews, and pricing.

To get started, download the GoBro app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. You can sign up using your email or phone number. Complete your profile with your personal details, location, and preferences. You can also save your favourite service types or providers for easy access later.

Type in the service you need, like a cleaner, gardener, or plumber. The app can automatically detect your location, or you can choose it manually. You'll see a list of service providers based on availability, ratings, reviews, and pricing.

Pick your preferred service provider, then select the date, time, and add any special instructions. Check the pricing and estimated time for the service. Confirm and pay for your booking using your preferred payment method. You'll get a booking confirmation by email and in-app notification.

Downloading the app and browsing service listings is completely free! However, there is a small fee of $6.20 for each booking you make to help keep the platform running smoothly.

If you forget your password, you can use the “Forgot Password” link on the login page. Follow the instructions to reset your password using your registered email or phone number.

GoBro is always looking to expand its services. If you can't find what you need, let us know through the in-app chat feature or by emailing [email protected].

Providers get job notifications through the app and email. They must accept or decline the job within a certain time. If they decline or don’t respond in time, the job will be offered to the next provider in line.

Both you and the provider will receive reminders before the booking starts. You can manage your booking and chat with the provider through the app. You also can update or cancel bookings, following our terms and conditions.

You have the option to reschedule or cancel your booking directly through the app. You can do so free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time. Please note that if you cancel within 6 hours of the start time, cancellation fees will apply as per our terms and conditions.

The provider arrives and completes the job as planned. They can update the job status in real-time (e.g. “Started,” “Completed”). You'll verify the job's completion by exchanging a verification code with the provider.

Once your booking is successfully completed, GoBro will release the funds to the provider according to the agreed-upon schedule. An invoice will be emailed to both you and the provider.

We protect your personal and payment information by using encryption and strong security measures. We update these regularly to keep your data safe. However, it's smart to keep an eye on your accounts for anything unusual.

After a service is completed successfully, you'll be invited to rate the provider from 1 to 5 stars and leave a review. Providers will also have a chance to rate you as well. These reviews help improve rankings and assist other users in making informed choices.

If there’s a problem, like a no-show or pricing issue, use the app’s dispute button on the job or booking page. GoBro’s support team can then assist to help resolve the issue.

Providers get paid into GoBro’s internal wallet and can request a withdrawal to their bank account via Stripe Connect. They have a dashboard to view transaction history, job logs, and performance metrics, and they can download summaries and receipts.

We want to keep you in the loop, so you may receive notifications about our exciting promotions, seasonal deals, and loyalty rewards. Our GoBro team is constantly reviewing analytics to ensure we deliver the best service possible and make any necessary improvements.

Currently, the option to book recurring services isn’t available. However, you can mark any provider as a favourite for easy re-booking in the future.

Joining GoBro is easy. Just download the GoBro pro app from the Apple Store or Google Play Store, then sign up with your email, mobile number, and a secure password. Follow the on-screen instructions to finish setting up your profile. Don't forget to accept GoBro's Terms & Conditions and Code of Conduct.

We offer service providers access to a wider customer base and tools for managing bookings and payments. We also provide support to address inquiries, resolve any issues, and offer protection against late cancellations.

We charge a monthly fee of $39.95 and a 3.95% commission on each booking you complete. These fees keep our service running and help to bring more customers your way. You don't have to commit to a minimum period, and you can pause your subscription whenever you want.

You'll need to share your full legal name, business name, address, service areas, contact details, how you prefer to be contacted, a profile picture or business logo, and choose the service categories you offer, like plumbing, cleaning, or gardening.

Upload proof of your Licensed Practitioner Status if needed, your company registration number, and a valid ID like a driver's licence or passport.

Write a description of the services you offer within the word limit and upload at least three high-quality images of your past work.

Your profile will be reviewed by the GoBro admin team. They'll check your documents, description, and gallery to ensure everything is good to go.

If your submission for a provider profile is turned down, you'll get a message explaining why. You can fix the problems and submit it again for another review.

Connect your bank account using Stripe Connect and verify your identity through Stripe to receive payouts directly to your NZ bank account.

Set your availability and travel area. You'll see and accept booking requests in real-time through the app and get notifications for new job offers.

Once you mark a job as “Complete,” payment is processed via Stripe. You'll receive the funds within 5 working days after the GoBro platform fee is deducted, and you'll get an invoice for your records.

You'll get paid in your in-app wallet when you finish a job. After that, you can move the money to your bank account using Stripe Connect. The in-app dashboard lets you see your transaction history, job logs, and performance stats, and you can also download summaries and receipts.

You have the flexibility to update your services, pricing, and availability anytime. You can also track your income and performance with the dashboard, join GoBro promotions, and get help from the support team whenever you need it through the in-app chat service.
